Welcome to Stern Couture. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Stern Couture website and your purchase of products from us.
By accessing or using our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our website or placing an order.
1. About Stern Couture
Stern Couture is a made-to-order fashion brand operated by a company established in Wyoming, United States.
Throughout these Terms, “Stern Couture,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Stern Couture and the company operating the brand.
2. Use of Our Website
You may use our website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
- Use the website for fraudulent or unlawful purposes;
- Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the website;
- Access or attempt to access areas or information that are not intended for you;
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit our website content without our written permission;
- Use our content, images, designs, trademarks, or branding in a way that may create confusion or imply an affiliation with Stern Couture.
- We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website where reasonably necessary to protect our business, website, customers, or legal rights.
3. Products
Stern Couture dresses are made to order.
Product descriptions, photographs, colors, materials, measurements, and other information are provided to help you understand the products before purchasing.
Because colors may appear differently depending on your screen, device, lighting, and display settings, minor color variations between product images and the actual product do not necessarily constitute a defect.
We reserve the right to correct errors in product descriptions, pricing, availability, or other information and to update product information when necessary.
4. Standard Sizes and Custom Measurements
Where available, customers may select a standard size or provide custom measurements.
If you choose custom measurements:
- You are responsible for providing accurate measurements;
- Stern Couture does not independently verify or confirm the measurements you provide;
- You are responsible for following our measurement instructions carefully;
- Errors in customer-provided measurements may result in an incorrect fit.
A dress made using incorrect measurements supplied by the customer is not eligible for return, refund, remake, or compensation solely because of those measurements, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Custom measurements do not mean that the design itself is customized. Customers cannot request changes to the dress design, including changes to color, neckline, length, sleeves, embellishments, or other design elements unless Stern Couture expressly offers such an option.
5. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you agree that all information provided is accurate and complete, including:
- Your name;
- Shipping and billing information;
- Email address;
- Telephone number, where requested;
- Selected size;
- Custom measurements, if applicable;
- Selected color and product options.
- After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.
An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not necessarily mean that Stern Couture has accepted an order in every circumstance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, payment issues, pricing errors, or inability to fulfill the order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will provide an appropriate refund, subject to applicable law.
6. Prices and Payment
All prices displayed on our website are subject to change without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time your order is placed, subject to obvious pricing errors.
Payment must be successfully completed through the payment methods made available at checkout.
We use third-party payment providers to process payments. Stern Couture does not directly receive or store complete payment card details where the payment processor handles such information.
You authorize us and our payment providers to process the payment associated with your order.
Taxes, duties, customs charges, or other governmental charges may apply depending on the destination and applicable law.
7. Made-to-Order Production
Because our dresses are made to order, production begins after your order is placed.
Estimated production times are:
- Regular and occasion dresses: approximately 2 weeks before shipping;
- Wedding dresses: approximately 4 weeks before shipping.
These are estimated production times and may occasionally be longer due to circumstances affecting production.
If a significant delay occurs, we will contact you by email and, where required by applicable law, provide you with appropriate options regarding the delayed order.
8. Order Changes
You may request changes to your order within 24 hours after placing the order.
This includes requests concerning:
- Size;
- Custom measurements;
- Color;
- Shipping address;
- Other order information.
After 24 hours, changes cannot normally be made because production may have started.
We are not responsible for information or measurements that you provided incorrectly if the 24-hour change period has expired, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
9. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours after placement.
After the 24-hour period, cancellation requests may not be accepted because the order may have entered production.
Once production has started, an order generally cannot be cancelled, except where cancellation or a refund is required by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory cancellation or refund rights that apply to you under applicable consumer protection laws.
10. Shipping and Delivery
We offer free worldwide shipping.
After production is completed, shipping generally takes approximately 7–10 days, depending on the destination and carrier.
We may use DHL, FedEx, UPS, USPS, or another appropriate shipping carrier.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive tracking information by email where tracking is available.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including customs processing, carrier delays, weather, strikes, transportation disruptions, or other unforeseen events.

11. Returns, Refunds and Defective Products
Because our dresses are made to order, ordinary returns are generally not accepted for:
- Change of mind;
- Incorrect standard size selected by the customer;
- Incorrect customer-provided measurements;
- Personal preference;
- Minor fit preferences;
- Minor color differences caused by screens or lighting.
We do not offer exchanges unless otherwise expressly stated.
If you receive a dress that is genuinely defective or materially different from what you ordered, you should contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs and/or videos showing the issue.
Examples of potentially genuine defects include:
- Torn fabric;
- Broken zipper;
- Significant or incorrect sewing;
- Major stains;
- Receiving a substantially incorrect dress or design.
If a defect is confirmed, Stern Couture may provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
For confirmed defects eligible for a refund, we may refund the applicable purchase amount and, where required, applicable shipping and return costs.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Customer Responsibility for Measurements
When custom measurements are provided, the customer is solely responsible for ensuring that the measurements are accurate.
Stern Couture provides measurement instructions to assist customers but does not guarantee that customer-provided measurements will produce a particular fit or result.
We recommend carefully following the measurement guide and, where appropriate, having measurements taken by a professional.
13. Event and Wedding Dates
If you are purchasing a dress for a wedding, ceremony, party, or other specific event, you are responsible for ordering sufficiently in advance.
Estimated production and shipping times do not constitute a guarantee that an order will arrive by a particular event date unless Stern Couture has expressly confirmed such a date in writing.
14. Intellectual Property
All content on the Stern Couture website, including but not limited to:
- Brand names and logos;
- Product names;
- Product photographs;
- Images;
- Videos;
- Text;
- Graphics;
- Designs;
- Website layout;
- Written content;
- is owned by or licensed to Stern Couture and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, publish, sell, or commercially exploit our content without prior written permission.
15. Customer Accounts
You may create an account where this functionality is available.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to update your information when necessary.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary, including for fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or unauthorized activity.
16. Third-Party Services
Our website may use third-party services, including payment processors, shipping providers, technology providers, hosting services, and customer-support tools.
Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to the terms and privacy policies of those providers.
Stern Couture is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, policies, or availability of third-party services outside our reasonable control.

We aim to keep our website available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available at all times.
The website may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, technical problems, updates, security issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website and its content are provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted or free from errors.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Stern Couture will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or purchase of our products.
Our liability will not be limited or excluded where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for matters that cannot legally be limited or excluded.
20. Events Beyond Our Control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, war, governmental actions, transportation disruptions, strikes, supply-chain disruptions, customs delays, widespread technical failures, or other extraordinary events.
Where such circumstances affect an order, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with affected customers.

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and other policies referenced on our website, constitute the applicable agreement between you and Stern Couture concerning your use of our website and purchases made through it, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
